Attention: The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (HSMV) will be updating their photo and residency services from Friday, May 20, 2022, at 7:00 PM until Monday, May 23, 2022, at 8:00 AM (EST). During this time, HSMV photos and residency will be unavailable for patients and caregivers who are submitting their initial or renewal applications.
Applicants may either wait for this maintenance to be completed, or they may supply their own, "passport-style" photograph in accordance to 381.986 (7)(a)2., Florida Statutes or supply their own proof of residence documentation in accordance with 381.986 (5).(b)., Florida Statutes.
Please note, supplying your own photo or proof of residence documentation may increase the application's approval processing time up to 10 business days.
